On the night of July 28, 1979, a witness in Herblay was awakened by an unusual light in their room. Looking out the window, they saw a bright white ball moving very slowly from northeast to northwest, without any noise. The ball was larger than the moon and disappeared behind buildings. No other witnesses or information were collected regarding this phenomenon.
The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, indicating that its nature could not be determined. Despite the clear description from the witness, the lack of additional testimonies or evidence prevents a more precise evaluation. Isolated sightings like this are common in the UFO database and often remain unsolved due to the scarcity of data.
