On July 14, 1979, during a fireworks display in Toulouse, a witness observed an unusual light in the sky. At 10:45 PM, while the crowd admired the show, the witness noticed a luminous object crossing the sky from south to north in a straight line at a constant speed. The object had the shape of a bright disk with a more diffuse tail. Despite its clear presence, no sound was heard from it. The phenomenon lasted between 8 and 12 seconds before disappearing. Although many people were present, no other testimonies were recorded, leaving this case without further confirmation.
