Green oval object with white lights at Noirmoutier

Summary

Shortly after 04:30 on 7 September 1979, two witnesses on Noirmoutier saw for less than five seconds a vivid green oval object with four white lights, outlined in black and glowing with a phosphorescent brightness. It climbed rapidly at 45 degrees from south to north before vanishing abruptly. No other testimonies or physical evidence were obtained.

Although the sighting was extremely brief, both witnesses agreed on the details, lending some credibility. Classified "C" by GEIPAN, the case lacks sufficient elements for deeper analysis and remains unresolved.
