Circular object with orange halo and electric shock in Evrecy

Summary

In September 1979, two witnesses in Evrecy saw a bright circular object moving at high speed and descending slowly, surrounded by an orange halo. When one of them tried to open a window, he received an electric shock. No other testimonies or electrical-line anomalies were recorded. Investigators concluded it was most likely a body entering the atmosphere. The electric shock, although contemporaneous, was not directly linked to the phenomenon.
