Vosges and Haut-Rhin 1979, zigzagging luminous sphere

Summary

In October 1979, several people in the Vosges and Haut-Rhin regions of France observed a spherical luminous phenomenon that glowed irregularly and moved in a zigzag pattern without making any noise. Notably, a very similar phenomenon had been reported a year earlier, in 1978, by different witnesses. Despite this coincidence, GEIPAN classified the case as C due to insufficient data for a precise evaluation. Neither the nature nor the origin of the object could be confirmed.
