Mareau-aux-Bois 1979, round objects with flashing lights

Summary

Around 6:45 PM on November 11, 1979, eight residents of Mareau-aux-Bois (Loiret) independently reported round objects with flashing colored lights in the sky. Two weeks later, a ninth witness described a similar phenomenon over Courcy-aux-Loges. The delay in reporting prevented the gendarmerie from investigating on site. Despite the convergence of testimonies, no additional data were obtained and the case remains unexplained.
