On December 2, 1979, around 6:30 PM, a couple in Pithiviers (Loiret) observed eight flying objects the size of an airplane. These emitted a whistling sound and displayed flashing lights in red, green, blue, and yellow colors. The objects moved slowly and were observed for about 20 minutes. The investigation failed to identify their origin, leaving the case unresolved. This testimony, classified as "D" by the GEIPAN, stands out for the clarity of the description and the duration of the phenomenon. Although no conventional explanations were found, the case remains an intriguing mystery for researchers of unexplained aerial phenomena.
