Summary

On January 5, 1980, in Bourgneuf-en-Retz, numerous witnesses and gendarmes observed a very bright light in the sky during the afternoon. The light appeared to change shape and color, causing some confusion. Although initially considered an unexplained phenomenon, investigators concluded it was likely Venus.
