In April 1980, several witnesses in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine saw a glowing ball in the sky that remained stationary for 20 minutes. Then it slowly moved westward and produced a sound similar to a fan. The observation lasted almost an hour, but no other testimonies or confirmations were received. Although the possibility of a light helicopter evolution was mentioned, it could not be verified.
The case was classified as C due to lack of sufficient information. Despite the detailed description of the object and its behavior, no definitive conclusion could be reached. The description of the shape and sound suggests a non-conventional object, but the investigation's limitations prevent a certain identification.
