Summary

On April 21, 1980, a witness in Pellerin (France) heard a whistle and saw a fireball falling nearby. The object came from the northwest, was the size of a bucket, had a 20 cm diameter, and displayed rainbow-like colors. No impact noise or smoke was heard or seen. At the site, gendarmes found a 100-meter circular area with scorched grass and a white powder covering the ground. No crater or clear impact evidence was present. A metal piece was recovered the next day, but analysis results are missing from the GEIPAN archives. The case is currently classified as C due to the lack of conclusive information.
