Orange light in the sky of Pujols

Summary

For several consecutive days, a witness observed an orange light appearing in the east between 6:30 and 8:30. On December 12, 1980, the gendarmerie decided to investigate the phenomenon. Indeed, a light was seen rising slowly in the sky. With prolonged observation, an optical effect made the phenomenon appear to move and change color at sunrise, continuing its ascent. The gendarmes thought it was an unusual star. A sky map from those days showed that Venus was progressively appearing in the east, rising, and disappearing with the sunrise.
