On December 16, 1980, a witness in Sarcelles spotted a round object with a pyramidal antenna on top. The object was described as metallic, shiny, and surrounded by a light yellow halo. It moved eastward, rising and falling, and remained visible for four minutes before gradually disappearing toward the south. Although the witness couldn't identify the object, his detailed description includes unusual features such as the halo and undulating movement.
The French gendarmerie did not collect any other testimonies about this phenomenon, limiting the possibility of confirming or dismissing the witness's account. The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, indicating no conventional explanation was found, but it was not considered a conclusive UFO sighting. Despite the lack of additional information, this sighting remains intriguing due to its duration and the precision of the details provided.
