A UFO case in France with ground traces and scientific analysis. In January 1981, a witness in Trans-en-Provence observed a gray, circular object landing near his home. The object was about 2.5 meters in diameter and 1.70 meters high, with circular protrusions described as hatches or feet. The event lasted between 30 and 40 seconds, and the object took off vertically at high speed. At the landing site, a two-meter circular imprint with drag marks was found. The gendarmerie collected soil and plant samples, and later the GEPAN conducted a new inspection. Analyses revealed soil compaction, combustion residues, and a slight temperature increase. Nearby plants showed mysterious degradation, possibly caused by an intense electric field. Although the exact cause remains unknown, the witness's account was deemed credible.
