On January 26, 1981, a fisherman in Finistère observed an aerial phenomenon while driving. He noticed a flash in the clear sky that lasted three seconds. Upon leaning out of his window, he saw a bright white point that rapidly grew as it descended. The observation lasted between six and seven seconds. The light intensified and then suddenly went out. Although the information is limited, researchers consider it possibly a atmospheric entry. This case, classified as B by the GEIPAN, does not allow conclusions about the nature of the object, but remains interesting for the study of unexplained aerial phenomena.
