UFO in Ternay 1981, Family Observation

Summary

In May 1981, a French family observed a luminous phenomenon near Ternay on a very cloudy night. While driving on a road, they noticed an oval-shaped object with multicolored lights that remained stationary. Despite poor visibility, the witnesses described white, blue-green, and red-orange lights at the ends. The object made no noise and disappeared behind a grove. The next day, no traces were found. The GEIPAN reviewed the case and concluded it was likely a forestry vehicle working at night. The confusion was due to parallax and the darkness.
