Spherical UFO sighted in Haut-Rhin in 1981

Summary

In November 1981, workers in the Haut-Rhin department of France observed a spherical flying object at high altitude. On the 4th of November, around 10 in the morning, witnesses saw the object moving slowly, displaying colors and lights that blinked or changed as it rotated. The sky was clear and visibility was good, allowing the phenomenon to be observed for about ten minutes. Eventually, the object disappeared into the landscape without a trace. Due to the lack of additional information, the case could not be explained and was classified as unexplained by the GEIPAN.
