In April 1982, four people in Thumeries (France) observed an unidentified flying object. According to the testimonies, the object was white, bright, and round. One witness described it as a "shining balloon" and mentioned it left a red trail as it moved away. Although a helicopter was considered, the lack of noise and precise details raised doubts. The case was classified as C due to insufficient reliable information.
The official investigation was limited: only two testimonies reached the researchers, and they lacked essential data such as angles, exact duration, or additional confirmations. The imprecision in key details, such as the direction of movement and the object's description, complicated any conclusive analysis. Although nothing contradicts the helicopter hypothesis, the lack of solid data prevents confirming this explanation.
