On April 25, 1983, several witnesses in Isère observed an oval-shaped object in the sky between 8:15 and 8:45. They described its color as light, almost transparent, and at times metallic or silver. The object moved very slowly from west to south-southwest and was occasionally hidden by clouds, eventually disappearing completely. Although the event sparked curiosity, investigators concluded it was likely a balloon, possibly a meteorological sounding balloon. This simple explanation fit the characteristics reported by the witnesses.
