On July 15, 1983, a witness in Boussay (France) observed a luminous object moving rapidly across the sky from their terrace. They described a rounded shape with green and blue colors, leaving behind a long, bright white trail. The phenomenon lasted about 4 seconds, following a straight and regular trajectory, before disappearing over the horizon. Despite the clear description, no further details were obtained.
The case was classified as "B" by the GEIPAN, indicating no conventional explanation was found. The object's speed and trail resemble those of a body entering Earth's atmosphere. However, the short duration and lack of physical traces made a definitive identification difficult. The case remains of interest to researchers of unidentified aerial phenomena.
