Summary

On September 11, 1983, between 2 and 2:30 a.m., a witness in Saint-Gratien (France) observed an unusual luminous phenomenon above his house and neighboring houses. It consisted of cylindrical beams about one meter in diameter that brightly illuminated the surroundings. These fixed beams, slightly yellow in color, were spaced 3 to 4 meters apart and gradually disappeared into the clouds. The witness provided no further information, leaving the phenomenon partially mysterious. Despite the simplicity of the account, the precise description of the lights and their behavior suggests a careful and coherent observation.

The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, indicating that the possibility of an unexplained phenomenon was not ruled out, but no clear explanation was found. This type of event, although unresolved, provides valuable information for researchers studying unidentified aerial phenomena. The lack of other testimonies or physical evidence complicates the investigation, but does not eliminate the curiosity generated by this case.
