On February 21, 1984, a witness in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles observed three red points of light in the sky. After stepping out of his car, he saw them arranged in a triangle with a green light at the center. The phenomenon remained stationary at about 200 meters altitude before slowly disappearing. The testimony is brief and no further information was collected about this event.
GEIPAN classified this case as category C, indicating an isolated observation without additional confirmation. Despite the simplicity of the account, the description of lights arranged in a triangular formation and the presence of a central green light add an intriguing aspect to this incident.
