Summary

On February 5, 1984, around 5 a.m., several people in Plouguenast (France) observed a rectangular object emitting a bright light of a clear blue color. The brightness was so intense that it allowed visibility as if it were daytime. The object moved silently from north to south at high speed, remaining visible for between 5 and 8 seconds before disappearing over the horizon. Although the phenomenon was brief, the witnesses' descriptions were consistent, leading investigators to consider the possibility of an atmospheric reentry. Classified as B by the GEIPAN, this case is not conclusive but remains interesting due to the coherence of the testimonies.
