In February 1985, two witnesses in Mayenne observed a bright yellow glowing ball that shifted to a vivid red. The phenomenon remained stationary and silent for 20 minutes before gradually disappearing. Remarkably, the main witness and others were able to observe the same event in the following nights. Although initially intriguing, investigators concluded it was likely a particularly visible star in a clear winter sky. While the explanation is simple, the repeated and detailed nature of the observation makes it noteworthy.
