Fireball over Saint-Seine l'Abbaye in 1985

Summary

On the night of March 2, 1985, a witness and his family observed for 15 minutes a ball of flame-colored light about one meter in diameter. The object left similar-colored traces in its wake and moved slowly at an altitude of around 800 meters, following the terrain. Surprisingly, no noise was heard during the observation. This case, classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, provided no further information about the phenomenon due to the lack of additional data. Despite the duration of the observation, the object could not be identified, and no conventional explanations were found for the event.
