UFO in delta shape over Alpes-de-Haute-Provence

Summary

On August 1, 1985, around 11:15 PM, a witness in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence observed a luminous point in the sky, slightly reddish, similar to a star. The object began to move vertically above the village, changing color and light intensity until it took the shape of a delta. It then moved horizontally at increasing speed. A few seconds after its vertical movement, the witness heard a loud noise. As it moved away, the object returned to appear as a luminous point. No further observations of this phenomenon were recorded.
