🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On October 5, 1985, around 7:20 PM, a driver and his passengers in Cahors (France) observed a large luminous phenomenon. As it moved, the object displayed a triangular shape with flashing red and green lights. No noise was heard, and the estimated speed was between 80 and 100 km/h. During the investigation, it was found that in the same area and around the same time, an instructor was flying a Cessna 150 for 25 minutes. The pilot, who used cabin lights and landing lights for his students, did not report anything unusual. It is likely that the witnesses mistook the plane for an unidentified object.
