Summary

In March 1986, a witness in Maisonnes-sur-Tardoire heard an unusual noise followed by an impact. Upon checking his car, he found the hood damaged by an object that was melting upon contact. The witness, noting the object had a detergent-like smell, placed it in the refrigerator before calling the gendarmerie. The object, blue and crystalline in appearance, shattered upon impact, leaving blue traces on nearby plants. Analysis concluded it was a residue from an unidentified aerial vehicle, adding another enigma to the long history of UFO sightings.
