On March 17, 1986, at around 4 a.m., a witness in Saussay (Eure-et-Loir) reported seeing a luminous sphere. The sphere was moving slowly and illuminated an area of 1,000 square meters. The phenomenon lasted about 20 seconds. Due to the early hour, no further details were obtained.
The case was classified as "C" by GEIPAN, meaning no conventional explanation was found. Despite the brief observation, the witness clearly described an unusual and mobile light. Reports like this, though incomplete, are valuable for the study of unidentified aerial phenomena.
