UFO seen as Airbus test flight

Summary

On October 31, 2017, three witnesses in a garden in the Hautes-Pyrénées noticed a bright point in the east. They soon observed three white lights that appeared to be at the ends of an anthracite-colored object. The object made no noise and disappeared after turning off its lights. Initially, the witnesses thought it was an unidentified object, but the GEIPAN investigation concluded it was an Airbus on a test flight. These flights, with lights on at low altitudes, can appear unusual and confusing. The plane's trajectory, over 60 kilometers long, explained its apparent stillness in the sky. Despite coherent observations, the testimonies showed some inconsistencies and a lack of technical data, such as photo metadata.
