🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In October 1989, a couple in Saint-Priest observed a luminous object in the sky. They described it as a bright oval object the size of a dessert plate that rotated and was accompanied by a smaller object descending and ascending. Although other witnesses confirmed the sighting, no official statements were made. Thirty years later, the GEIPAN reviewed the case and found the information inconsistent. There was no field investigation or precise data, making it difficult to draw any clear conclusions. The single testimony and contradictory descriptions led to the case being classified as category C.
