🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On April 30, 1990, three independent witnesses in the Allier region of France reported a red light appearing as large as the moon. The phenomenon moved diagonally toward Earth without making any noise. One witness noted that his dogs showed an unusual reaction of alarm. Although the description could resemble an atmospheric entry of an object, the phenomenon could not be identified with certainty. The case was classified as "D" by GEIPAN, indicating no conventional explanation was found.
