UFO observed in Loiret in 1990

Summary

In May 1990, three witnesses in the Loiret department of France observed an unidentified object with an oval or semi-spherical shape, silver-gray in color and with appendages. The event was initially classified as "D", but after a review using modern tools and accumulated experience, the GEIPAN reclassified it as "B". The witnesses noted that the object moved silently with the wind, at a constant speed, and reflected sunlight. Although the estimated duration varied between one and five minutes, all descriptions matched the characteristics of a Mylar balloon, which already existed in 1990. This type of balloon can reflect light and move with the wind, and the appendages could simply be the strings that hold it. Although no physical evidence was found, the description and sketches align with this type of object.
