Summary

In September 1990, in Longuennesse (France), several witnesses and a police patrol observed ovoid shapes with red and green lights for several hours. These appeared from 9:30 PM onward and either moved slowly or remained stationary. Despite multiple observers, the phenomenon could not be identified with certainty. The possibility of laser lights from a Lille nightclub was considered but not confirmed. The case was classified as "D" by the GEIPAN, indicating no clear explanation was found.

The similarity with another sighting on July 17 suggested the possibility of the same phenomenon, although aircraft were not ruled out. The investigation did not reach a definitive conclusion, keeping the case in the category of unexplained phenomena. Such observations, though inconclusive, are valuable for understanding the limits of our perception and the challenges of UFO research.
