In 1991, three witnesses in New Caledonia observed two luminous objects crossing the sky from east to west. The witnesses described circular shapes with colors such as silver, fluorescent green, and combinations of blue, pink, and green. Although the sightings lasted between 2 and 10 seconds, the testimonies agree on details like the straight trajectory and silent movement. Initially thought to be the disintegration of a satellite, a more recent investigation concluded it was likely the entry of a meteorite. This type of phenomenon, though brief, is common and matches other similar cases documented around the world.
