On May 23, 1992, around midnight, two witnesses in different vehicles observed a very bright light in the Vaucluse region for two to three seconds. The weather was stormy, but the witnesses ruled out the possibility of it being a lightning flash. The case was recorded by the GEIPAN and classified as category C, indicating an observation whose nature is not clearly identifiable. This type of report provides valuable data for the study of unexplained aerial phenomena.
