🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On February 23, 1993, a volunteer firefighter in Sarthe (France) observed a very bright light in the sky while driving on the highway. The light seemed to disappear in about 4 to 5 seconds, which caught the attention of the witness. The phenomenon was reported to the GEIPAN and classified as case B. Although not identified with certainty, it was considered a possible atmospheric entry of an object. The testimony is interesting due to the credibility of the observer and the precise description of the event.
