On May 16, 1993, two passengers of a ULM in the Côte-d'Or region of France observed a blue sphere spinning on itself and moving at high speed. The object appeared in the distance, quickly approached the ULM, and passed by at high speed. The observation lasted between 15 and 20 seconds, and weather and visibility conditions were excellent, making the inability to identify the phenomenon even more puzzling. After an investigation by both civilian and military authorities, the object could not be identified and was not detected by radar. To this day, the case remains unexplained.
