🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In June 1993, a family in Marly le Roi observed from their terrace an unusual phenomenon: a cloud composed of about a hundred light points. These points had no defined shape and moved relative to each other, yet the whole remained essentially stationary. The witnesses used binoculars to observe the phenomenon for about fifteen minutes, after which it disappeared suddenly. Three of them filed a formal report with the local gendarmerie.
The case was recorded by the GEIPAN, the French organization responsible for investigating unidentified aerial phenomena. Despite detailed observations and formal declarations, no conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon. This case remains classified as unexplained, adding another chapter to the long history of UFO sightings in France.
