Chinon 1993, Repeated observation of a mysterious light

Summary

On the night of July 10, 1993, a witness in Chinon (France) observed a formless light rotating clockwise with a soft humming sound. Curious, he called his friend, who also saw the phenomenon, and then his mother, who confirmed the sighting. Two other witnesses were found by the gendarmerie but chose not to speak. The phenomenon appeared every 20 minutes or so until 2:30 AM, when the witnesses decided to go to sleep. Although not officially identified, it is likely that this was a laser beam from a nightclub about 10 kilometers away, reflected by the cloud cover present that night.
