🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On August 8, 1996, four witnesses in the Corse-du-Sud region observed between 2:30 and 3:30 AM lights moving in a circle at high speed. The case was classified as "B" by the GEIPAN, indicating a likely explanation. After investigation, it was determined that the lights were probably the result of a laser projector used during a party in a nearby village. Although initially attention-grabbing due to its speed and movement pattern, the phenomenon turned out to be explainable.
