🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On the night of June 6, 1997, a witness in Lille, France, observed a static glowing ball in their garden. The ball was approximately four times smaller than the moon. After a few minutes, a second ball approached at high speed and joined the first. Together, they quickly moved northward. The witness called their friend, who also saw the phenomenon. The gendarmerie received other reports about the event, but no clear explanation was found. This case, classified as "D" by the GEIPAN, remains an unsolved mystery.
