On August 27, 1997, around 11:00 PM, a witness in Dordogne observed six luminous spheres rotating in the sky. After a while, five of them disappeared, leaving a large whitish sphere three times the size of the setting sun, which remained visible for about thirty minutes. The witness called his mother, who only saw the large white sphere. Although the investigation did not confirm its origin, it has been speculated that it could be the effect of advertising laser projectors on clouds.
