🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In June 1999, a glider pilot took aerial photographs of the landscape in the Drome region of France. While reviewing the slides, he noticed unidentifiable spots or points that he hadn't seen when taking the pictures. These anomalies led him to suspect an UFO. However, testimonies based solely on photographs, without visual confirmation, are generally considered unreliable. The spots could be reflections on the lens or artifacts from the developing process. The GEIPAN classified this case as category C, indicating there are not enough elements to consider it an unexplained phenomenon.
