An unusual case recorded by the GEIPAN in 1999 describes the observation of a large, silent, white spiral seen in the area of Talensac, in the French region of Ille-et-Vilaine. The witness, closing his gate one winter night around 1:00 a.m., was startled by the presence of this luminous shape moving silently.
