On May 14, 2000 at 20:53, a witness in Champhny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) observed a dark object moving at high speed. The object made no noise, which caught the observer's attention. The witness estimated the object to be at an altitude of about 300 meters and at a distance of 500 meters. Despite the clear description of the trajectory and the absence of sound, no further information was collected. The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, suggesting no conventional explanations were found.
The testimony is brief but precise, adding interest to the case. Although no further investigations were carried out, the description of the object and its characteristics (silence and speed) fit common patterns of UFO sightings. This type of report, although inconclusive, is valuable for the study of unexplained aerial phenomena.
