In September 2000, a man in Castanet-Tolosan briefly observed a triangle made of luminous points. The object disappeared behind a building without making any sound. Although the airport radar recorded three unknown tracks, the DGAC concluded they were parasitic responses from an aircraft beyond the radar's range. After reviewing the case 18 years later, the GEIPAN dismissed the radar data as irrelevant. However, the witness's testimony remains imprecise: it is unclear whether the orange color referred to the points or the entire shape. Additionally, the duration of the observation is ambiguous, complicating any interpretation. The GEIPAN concluded there is not enough reliable information to classify the case as unexplained.
