On March 13, 2001, around 7:50 PM, a witness in Marly-le-Roi observed a very bright luminous point with a trail. The witness immediately interpreted it as the likely re-entry of an object into the atmosphere. This phenomenon was classified by the GEIPAN as case B, indicating a plausible but unconfirmed explanation. Despite the clear description from the witness, no physical traces or additional records were found to confirm the exact nature of the object.
