On June 24, 2001, a witness filmed a slow-moving cylindrical object at an estimated altitude of 600 meters. The object was observed in the Bouches-du-Rhône region of France and appeared to be 15 meters tall and 2.5 meters in diameter, with an aluminum-like surface and bright spots resembling headlights. The witness followed the object on a motorcycle to get a better view, noting its slow movement at around 10 km/h. Despite the footage, the investigation could not identify the object. The detailed description and video failed to provide a conventional explanation, keeping the case classified as D by the GEIPAN.
