🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On December 1, 2001, at around 11:40 PM, several witnesses in Val de Reuil (Eure, France) observed between 6 and 12 very bright points in the sky for about fifteen seconds. These points quickly burned out, suggesting a rapid atmospheric entry. The event was brief and intense, with no reported sounds or other effects, which aligns with typical descriptions of high-speed atmospheric entries. The GEIPAN classified the case as "B," indicating that it was not considered an unexplained phenomenon after analysis.
