🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On February 5, 2003, a witness in Yvelines (France) observed a triangular object with nine orange rings. The object emitted a sound similar to that of an airplane and remained stationary for a few seconds before ascending at a 45-degree angle and disappearing. The weather was cloudy, making the observation less clear. The object's description and behavior did not fit conventional categories. Due to the lack of a clear explanation, the case was classified as "unexplained" with category D by the GEIPAN.
The phenomenon had no additional witnesses or physical evidence, limiting analysis possibilities. Despite the detailed description provided by the witness, no conventional explanation such as drones, airplanes, or atmospheric phenomena was found. Cases like this, although inconclusive, add pieces to the puzzle of French ufology.
